New USCG approved Lifebuoy Light from Datrex!
Early March, USCG approved the DA0162M for US Flagged vessels. The light comes complete with bracket. It is approved for a 76 m drop height and has a high-intensity flashing LED, active more than 15 hours.

New Hemilight2-LED Lifejacket Lights available from Datrex.
We have started to ship the new compact Hemilight2, which is a LED,flashing Lifejacket Light that fits almost any type of lifejacket. It is approved globally, USCG/MED/SOLAS/Transport Canada.

Infant lifejackets a must on passenger ships |

Due to a revision to Regulation III/7 of the SOLAS convention, from July 2010, all passenger ships are required to have infant lifejackets onboard in following numbers:
a) at least 2.5% of the total number of passengers for voyages less than 24 hours
b) for voyages of 24 hours or more, one lifejacket for each infant must be available onboard each passenger ships.
Datrex offers the new Thermo Cruise Baby 2010. This lifejacket is approved according to the new regulation MSC 200(80) entering into force July 2010. |

Datrex and Daniamant continues its great cooperation, now by introducing the new DA0160M, Lifebuoy Light, SOLAS / MED which comes complete with bracket. This life buoy light replaces the famous L41B and L120 that has served vessels for decades.
L160 is the first lifebuoy light of a family of 4 different lights that meet different requirement.

GME Accusat EPIRB's available through Datrex! |

From January 1, Datrex will offer the full range of Accusat EPIRB's from GME in Australia.
The GME Accusat EPIRB's are approved globally (GMDSS) and Datrex' both facilities in Florida are set up as a BRC with full capacity to replace batteries and program all GME products.
